Wolfram Alderson has worked his entire career to improve human and environmental health. Currently is hyper-focused on the intersection of metabolic health and nutrition. Wolfram is a polymath, social change agent, entrepreneur, ecosystem builder, artist, amanuensis, strategian, and rapporteur. Not surprisingly, he believes love conquers all.
Wolfram Alderson has served over four decades in leadership roles involving the design, development, and administration of innovative programs created to improve human and environmental health – often working for programs and organizations that accomplish both. His career began as a teenager when he was instrumental in founding the first Certified Farmers’ Markets in California. In addition to his “day job” working to transform the food & beverage industry, Alderson currently serves as CEO for two health foundations, the Hypoglycemia Support Foundation and the Robert H. Lustig Research Foundation. Additionally, he is the founding board chair for the Institute for Love and Time.
Complementing his work improving the human condition is Alderson’s artwork. He has been a working artist since 1986. Primarily self-taught, Alderson has served as curator and lead artist in several public exhibitions and developed two major art therapy and rehabilitation programs, one for Cuban refugees and the other for severely abused children. Alderson’s art has always been built on the foundation of community, culture, and love – intersecting in powerful ways with the people he has served.
